Durability and Environmental Resistance
Outdoor fans need to cope with complex outdoor environments, so they focus more on durability in materials and structure:
Materials
: High-strength ABS plastic, metal grilles, etc., are often used for their anti-drop and wear-resistant properties, capable of withstanding minor collisions.
Waterproof and Dustproof
: Most products have a certain waterproof rating (such as IPX4, splash-proof), suitable for rainy or humid environments. Some also feature dustproof designs to reduce the impact of sand and dust on internal components.
Wind Resistance and Stability
: The base is designed to be more stable, possibly using a weighted chassis, fixable hooks, or ground stakes (for floor-standing models) to prevent being blown over by wind, especially suitable for fixing beside tents or on the ground during camping.
Portability Design
Lightweight
: The overall weight is relatively light (mostly 1-3 kg), and some models have handles or foldable designs for easy carrying and storage.
Multi-scene Installation
: In addition to floor-standing types, there are hanging (with hooks) and clip-on (fixable to tent poles, tree branches, table edges) styles, flexibly adapting to different outdoor scenarios.
